and when i pressed ctrl+alt+I the ball just went green....and why is it so complicated just making a simple cirle in photoshop,,and i tried starting over again and first i made a new.. with white background then i made a new layer and a filled circle then when i was about to making the radial thing in the effects it was grey marked and i could not choose it.....gaah this is frustrating....i should just erase the entire program...

U got the command wrong. What you pressed was just "Ctrl + I". "Ctrl + I" only inverts the colors selected (I.e in your case: makes the color green)
The command you want is the "Inverse Selection" wich is "Shift + Ctrl + I" You can also do this by going to "Selection -> Inverse".

Im not quite sure what you mean by this. It sounds like you just need to merge the layers or flatten the image. If so just select one of those options from the "layers" menu.

As to ctrl+alt+I, thats for inverting the selection which can also be found in the "Select" menu.

There's always multiple ways of doing something in photoshop, so if one way doesnt work (ie keyboard shortcut) try the menu's.

About the "filter" menu being grayed out, it usually means either
1) The layer doesnt contain any image data
2) The selection doesn't contain any image data
3) You've selected the wrong layer
4) The layer is locked

Just double check everything and try again.

i ment just that;when im done with all the layers how do i see the final picture,,,cause all i saw was a grey circle no matter what layer i clicked...

well it was a little harder since i had a swedish version of the program, but now i have the english version anyways..now i have another problem..when i come to the making shade1 layer,,well the tutorial says to stay working on the shade1 layer but still ctrl+click on one of the eye layers,,well anyway i did just as it said,,then it said colour it black and i did and the circel boarder got black and then the blur thing, but then it said to again invert the thing and then hit Del,,yes i did that and after that the both layers was gone...what did i wrong?
