Hello , is there another way to put colorful objects such as butterflies, leaves, flowers etc...other than using the brush tool in adobe? what I mean is for example the butterfly print that results from using the brush tool has no details on it or different colors. I would like to know if there is an easy way to put certain objects ready made on the painting other than using the brush tool...I hope my question is clear

Well, I'm not sure if I understand you completely, but I'll try to answer: When you have a picture (Butterfly,..) you can just copy-paste it on your painting. Probably you will first have to remove the background ofcourse. And after you pasted it you can transform it to a good size with "CTRL-T" or "Edit-->Transform". When you want more of it u can duplicate the layer a few times. I also know it's possible to make your own brushes, but I fear it's not possible to give them several colors. But with the many options of photoshop there might be a way to make loads of colorized stuff :D. |

Thank you for your help I just wanted to make sure if that's the answer I'm looking for by making my question clearer (I hope I can :p ). I would like to know if there is any other possible way to put an object such as a butterfly ( with all it's details not just a brush print) other than cutting it out from another picture ,you know, an easy way that allows you to put detailed objects or patterns on your picture, because whenever I want to put flowers, butterflies or anything else small I have to cut them out from another picture which can sometimes be annoying. I hope my question is clearer than last time ;) thank you |

Your best bet is probably to create a PSD with separate layers of your objects already cut out, then you can just drag and drop when you need them in a different PSD. Also, you might try a bit more descriptive thread titles if you want better help, "I need advice" doesn't tell anyone skimming the forums much about what you're looking for. chris |

Thank you for your help . I didn't know what title to put as I already didn't know how to ask my question, but thank you for telling me. I'll try my best next time to put a more descriptive title ;)

instead of cutting it out of pictures, you should use that as an opportunity to practice with the pen tool! trace over it and make some custom shapes which can be duplicated at just about any size, and with some layers you can have colors, just by making different ones different colors and erasing parts and stuff which is annoying but works.
