printing help!!

Hi, I'm currently making a business card for a friend and I'm deciding to print from photoshop instead of illustrator because of language issues. Are there issues I need to address before sending the product out? the card is 2" x 1-3/4" at 300 dpi cmyk. Anything else I need to know? Thanks

one critical issue is whether or not there's any bleed on the card, i.e. does any color or image go over the edge. if so you need to run the artwork 1/8" past the edge. you also don't want any type within 1/8" of the edge on the inside to make sure nothing gets cut off. and be sure to either flatten your psd or include all the fonts.

i'd also talk to the printer and see what he'll charge you for printing at an odd size.
