Hi

Everytime I save a gif now it's all grainy. When I preview it optimized it looks like this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/Bec/problem.jpg

These are my settings
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/Bec/problem2.jpg

A few days ago I was messing around with the settings to improve another gif but put it back to the above default settings. It hasn't optimized properly since.

My gifs useto look like this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/Bec/heatvis4.gif

They now look like this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/Bec/mosseyes.gif

How can I fix this? :(

I think the dither is too high - it's normally at 88%.

Regardless, where that 'Settings' menu is, you should be able to choose the Adobe defaults. Try Gif 128 Dithered. That's a nice one.

First of all, thanks for replying

Unfortunately I tried 128 dithered but it still didn't help.

I did have this same problem about a year ago but can't remember if I fixed it or it just fixed itself. I've tried every wording in google to find if this has happened to anbody else in Imageready but there's nothing. The only option I can see at the moment is to reinstall it which I shouldn't haveto do, there should be a simpler way but no one seems to know.
