Serial number... lost.

Hi. I have a quick question. Last week my computer crashed so I had to get a new one. I am in the process of reinstalling everything. *sigh* So, I get to Photoshop 7 and found that I have lost the case to it that holds the serial number. My question is, is there anyway around putting in the serial number to install it on my new computer? I called Adobe and they said were it not for it being such an old version, they could have "re-serialized" it . Hope someone can help.

**Editing to say: Sorry for wasting a thread. My son found my photoshop case buried in with his cd's which were still in a box from a recent move. Thanks anyway. Yay.

Oh sorry. So, I guess it was some kind of "not so legit" site. I understand. I don't want to rip anyone off. I paid for my software and it's my fault I lost my case with my activation code and all. I just wish that somehow that doesn't mean that I am going to have to buy another one. :(
