I have a website I made and sliced in Photoshop. I thought I needed to open it in Dreamweaver and then insert my rollover buttons. Well I cannot get them in the position where I want them to be. It looks fine in DW but when I got to check it in IE the buttons are off and made worse when i change the window size. I looked up a tutorial on doing a website in PS & they put their buttons in the main page.-not saved all buttons individualy. I could do that, but my buttons are in so many layers. What should I do differently?

You have to insert your roll over button using imageready. Once its sliced and positioned in imageready, the placement of the images are pretty much set to their respective tables. If you need to edit them, you will have to do that in imageready itself. Editing them in dreamweaver will only screw up your site's layout because the tables are already pre-determined for the slices.

I make the image in PS then i save it as a png and open it up in fireworks and slice and make my roll overs using the fonts there. then export to dreamweaver. just remember if you want to make any changes to the background image then you should save it ALSO as a psd |

Ok well I went back and put my rollovers directly into Photoshop on my homepage instead of inserting them on the homepage in Dreamweaver. Now my problem= I saved that page as a template and put in an editable region box. When I entered text there by typing it directly or using a table it through off the rest of the site. I would like to attach a photo, but don't understand how to on here.
