Im trying to learn 3d moddeling aswell as photoshop.......and i want to create a texture for some of my models.....
i want to know is there anyway to create realistic Moon/Earth textures to put on 3d spheres to make planets........

http://www.solarvoyager.com/ has some really nice tutorials for planets and other space items. You can also try to get the actual planet textures from NASA if you want the real thing.
