wasn't sure where to post this...
but when u scan something how is it saved?
i.e. .psd? . something else?

Its been awhile, but I think that the scan by default is
a PSD file just because its in PS, just like when you open
a FILE>New window.

But then you can save it out as anything in the export menu.

So theres plenty of formats.
