Hello... I'm trying to recreate either one of the backgrounds in the 2 images below. I have a fairly good knowledge around Photoshop. I've tried rendering and filtering and just couldn't reach a relatively similar background to either one of these backgrounds. Anyway, if you can help/guide me to it or maybe at least tell me how to create the bubble effect in the background of the right image, I'd be thankful. Here's the image |

The light green bubble thingy on the right image? That is "Pop Dots". You get that by making a selection; going into quickmask mode; bluring; and running the halftone filter (on the blured selection in quickmask). (then go back into normal mode make a new layer and fill the resulting selection with the color of your choice) The biggest feature I notice from the other image are the rays of light Which are easy enough to achieve. Make a new layer, make a tall rectangular selection, feather the hell out of it, fill with white then transform and bring the ends together to make a ray that starts tight and moves wide. Duplicate and rotate as needed. I hope this helps in some small way. |

Thanks alot... but the "Pop Dots" effect. It's coming out blurry. Can it be done in such a way more similar to the attached image?
