It's a lot of work spoon-feeding somebody step-by-step tutorials for something so specific, especially when the person asking for help is an unknown quantity. By that, I mean we have no clue at all about what skills you already possess, since you have only just joined the forum and have no track record with us about what you already know and are capable of. You might try showing us what you've already attempted, and ask more specific questions. Something that may be of great help to you—here, on other forums, and throughout life in general—is an essay about how to ask for help, and to help those people you're asking to more efficiently help you. Read this (and I'd also suggest bookmarking it and/or saving it as a text file): http://catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html It's brilliant, and worth taking the time to read and absorb. |

Being an impatient twit isn't going to help your cause. Not everyone here hangs out all day just waiting for questions to answer. People have school, jobs and real life to attend to. As for your assessment of the people here...how the EFF would you know if you haven't interacted with anyone? I'm 45 years old and have been doing graphic arts as a job since probably before you were born. Noob? Not quite, sweetie pie... I was trying to be polite and helpful, but you sound like you REALLY need to read the essay at the link I posted. |

haha you pissed off µ23 - bad things will happen to you romeo. You'll get explosive diarheea or something! you could try letting your nails grow for a while then use them on your eyes - ask someone to take a quick shot before they ooze out completely |

5 hours after you post you go off on the community?? chill out lol As to your problem, you'll want to mask off the tip of the nail and place it near the skin. Then using a sampled shadow color use a soft brush to paint a small round indentation. Opposite the shadow you'll want a very faint highlight (just use screen for the brush, though you could sample a highlight also). Next feather a lasso selection around what you painted, add noise and lower the opacity. You'll want to match the grain of the skin as painting will make it somewhat blurry. Make sure to pay attention to your light source. Around the bottom of the nail, you'll want a little bit of a shadow, to show the nail has entered the skin, not just pushed on it. Obviously color correcting and color matching are a must for natural. Not to mention any bleeding or bruising around the nail. As to through the eye......thats a hole diff story. Similar in technique i guess. Also for reference, go get a pencil er something and just push lightly on your arm. You'll should see what i described. |

You still need to read the "How to Ask Questions the Smart Way" essay I posted. And work on your writing. SMS shorthand and crap grammar isn't going to garner you one gram of respect here, nor at most other places either—online or off. And, umm...drugs are bad, mmmkay? Idiots only get worse on meth. Normal people don't fare well, either. Trust the old dog on this one. He knows... |
