Hope this is a simple one. I have a PSD format file which is my website laytout. I want to drag a transparent gif onto the psd to be part of my logo. However when I drag onto the psd workspace the cursor turns to circle/slash icon so I can't drag and drop. Now when I do this with a jpeg file I'm able to drag and drop onto the psd file. Any ideas why the transparent gif is not letting me do a drag and drop? Thanks, Tom |

The .gif file is in a different color model than your webpage .psd file more than likely. You see the .gif file is in "indexed color" and the psd file is most likley in "rgb" color. Simply change the .gif files color model by going: Image> Mode> RGB and then you'll be able to drag it in. |
