hi, I just want my font go back to normal. I don't remember how it happend, my font size was 2038.01pt? I tried changing it to 90pt but it's too small, but when i create a new image, a "normal" one will come out. So what i did when resizing the font is i just use transform then resize through dragging. Thank you! |

First of this isnt an advanced problem You have points insted of pixels in the preferences. Go to Edit-Preferences then on the scrol forvard untill you get to UNITS & RULES and change the column where there says -Type- from points to pixels.. |

Point/pixels isnt the problem. Im not sure exactly what you did (or in what order) but using any scale transform on a font (not rasterized) will cause this. Always use the font tool to scale your text instead.....or if you dont need to edit the text, go ahead and rasterize it. Just delete the text and try again (scaling the new text with the font tool). If your text is too small even with an appropriate size (like 90pt), then you need to check the resolution of your document making sure it is not below 72. |
Point/pixels isnt the problem. Im not sure exactly what you did (or in what order) but using any transform on a font (not rasterized) will cause this. If you didnt transform and this still happened, then it would be a resolution problem (that is a res below 72 pixels). Just delete the text and try again. Also always use the font tool to scale your text.
as far as i remember, i copied a txt at MS Word and paste it in Photoshop. I tried what you said but still the same effect. I followed Mynx's advice and it's now OK. Thank you all for the reply! :D ;) |

If you're working with pts, then the document resolution does play a role in the size of the font on the screen. Switching over to pixels would circumvent the problem with resolution. As for Rodder's reply, he's right to say that you should check your document resolution, but text that becomes way too small to read using the pts scale is a problem concerning too high of a doc res, not low. :d |
