Hey, its been a while since I've touched photoshop and I forgot how to do this particular overlay effect. Basically from what I remember, Picture > Desaturate Fill new layer with render Clouds Put Picture over clouds, and set to hue. But, that can't be right because my picture turns into a block of gray. I remember doing it, where the picture would take on the color of the rendered clouds or effect. And the white background would too. So basically, I'd have a banner that was filled with the rendered effect completely, even over the pictures, yet I'd still be able to see clearly the picture, effect and everything Thanks |

Have you tried changing the blend mode of the picture to Overlay? You could then adjust the fill level of the clouds if necessary.
