Adam, not sure of your level of Photoshop skill, since you didn't post in the right location, so I'll go with the advanced answer for now (shorter for me to type). 1) Go do a Google image search for "cracks" or "cracked" or "cracked ground" 2) Depending on the image, you should be able to mask out the non-cracked areas, and simply place the 'cracks' behind your logo. Another possible method would be to find a Photoshop lightning tutorial, and modify it for best results. |

My favorite way to make cracks is with layer styles. 1. Make a new blank layer and set the fill opacity to 0% 2. Go to the layer styles dialog box and select "bevel and emboss" 3. change the type from "smooth" to "chisel hard" the depth pretty high and the direction to "down" Click OK 4. get a hard edged round brush and set your foreground color to black 5. go to the brushes pallet and choose "shape dynamics" and set the size control to "fade" (the amount in fade will determine how long your cracks are) 6. paint on the prepared layer with a shaky hand and watch the cracks appear. Good luck |
