I did a search and couldn't come up with anything that answered my question so I figured I'd post it here. I've been following the chrome text tutorial (http://www.teamphotoshop.com/tut_photoshop/tutorials/text/chromebase_6/tut_chrome.php) very closely to try and create it. I am however, terrible at trying to get the contours to match those on the tutorial. I'm getting frustrated with it since I adore the way the roughed up chrome looks and would like to make a logo for my photography site with it. Is there any way to download the contour styles or any interesting tips or tricks to help me get them exact? No amount of tweaking right now is helping me get them anywhere near what they are on the tutorial page. Thanks in advance! |

I'm using Photoshop 7.0 and none of the contours match those listed on the tutorial. I've done some tweaking to attempt to recreat them and it doesn't seem to be working.

If anyone has managed to complete the chrome text tutorial I'd love it if somehow the contours could be e-mailed to me, I see there is a "Load Contour" option so that would be a HUGE help!
