I would like to make an interface that has buttons like the windows media player quick silver skin for theskinfactory.com Any tutorials or ideas on how to do this? thanks.

Umm...you might want to include a screen shot of this. And maybe it's just me but I could find no skins on that site...just a 'search engine' which leads you to ads. So I'm assuming this is a form of spamming? Correct me if I'm wrong.
