Hi, I would like to learn how select/color open regions. Example: As you can see, some lines on the hair is missing, can I cannot use the magic wand. How would I color in the hair in this case? Invisible lines are common in animation, but how would I color it in PS? |

Create a new layer over the drawing and use the paintbrush to apply a color. Then go to the layers palette and switch the blend mode of the color layer to multiply.

Most likely masking and just drawing it in yourself. Draw the line like in the top picture and then mask out parts with a fuzzy brush until you get the desired results.
