Hi all! I have been trying for 5 days to create text with fire coming out of the top of the letters (like it is burning). I've been close....but no cigar! Can anyone PLEASE help with an easy tutorial or step-by-step for a new user?  TIA! Steve |

The Fire tutorial, without contest possible is this one: detailed and realistic, and you can also see a video version: http://www.photoshoptechniques.com/texp/fireptk.php

If the text that I am trying to do the fire effect on is going to be placed into a graphic, should I open the graphic and create the text there? Or should I create the graphic, and paste it into the graphic?
