Simple question how do I use the text tool to wrap text around an image. Just like any news site or editorial site where the text wraps around the image and there is padding added to the image so the text is not right up against the image. I want to be able to control the wrapping and I know there must be a way with PS CS. Thanks |

Simply create a path where you want the text to go then use your Text tool to start a text layer. You'll see the little text cursor (normally an "I" beam thing) change when you hold it directly over that path. If you click there you'll start a text-on-path layer. As you type the text will follow the path. Don't worry if it not perfect at first, you can always readjust it afterwards by flipping it to the other side of the path or sliding it up/down the path to get the correct position. You can even alter the path to a different shape and the text will change to match it.
