Hello, I was wondering what is DPI? Someone is asking me for jpeg pictures that are 300 DPI. Is it possible to check what the DPI is in Photoshop 6.0? Is it possible to change it if it is not 300? Thanks in advance.

Well if the photo was already processed at a lower dpi, then turning it up to 300 would not make any difference. but if not, then go to Image-->Image Size, and on the bottom line you can change the DPI. |

You can check the resolution, in pixels per inch (D.P.I. is really only a term that applies to printing and isn't correctly used to describe the resolution of an image in-camera, from a scanner or onscreen) by going to "Image--»Image Size..."
