How to get rid of this....

Ok, i think the like second day i got PS6 i was messing around with the buttons (like an idiot newbie) and i think i pressed the slice button. Now i have this weird gray thing in the top left corner of EVERY image i make..can u tell me if this is supposed to be there or how to get rid of it plz.

Go to "View--»Show..." And uncheck Slices. You can also mess with the "Show Extras Options..."
Also, a healthy round of "Command/CTRL-H" usually does the trick as well.
