Do you want a 2d view of one (straight on), or a 3d view (from a distance, rotated, etc.)?

A 2d view or 3d view which ever one is easiest right now. I need it to complete a project. Thanks for the quick reply Linda |

Well...your best bet would be a scanner or a camera. Try scanning/taking a picture of a CD case, then masking it.

i'm not sure if you want to create the cd case from scratch, or as galaphile suggested, take/scan a photo. if you want to use a photo, i'd suggest you search for tutorials on removing backgrounds, masking in photoshop, taking photos of isolated objects, etc. there are many options and because this is such a common question, there's tons of answers out there. i just googled "photoshop masking" and got tons of results. try it. i just went to check the main part of teamphotoshop.com and found this: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/tools/maskface/mask_face.php i don't know if it's applicable to what you're doing, but i hope it helps. it explains things more clearly than i ever could in a forum post. in the future, you could save some time waiting for us to answer by simply searching for tutorials first. |
