Hi Guys, I'm trying to add a face to an apple so that the face takes on the same contours/shading of the apple (I'm not trying to morph the face with the apple; I'm just trying to add a face on it, possibly like a reflection). I tried using the 'sphere' filter on the face but just couldn't get it to match the apple. Right now it just looks like I layered a flat picture to the apple and lowering the transparency didn't help. I 've seen this done on someone's photoshop tuturial webpage but of cause I didn't bookmark it. Any ideas on how I can do this or a website address that has something like it? Many thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to the response. Guido |
use a displacement map: http://iraszl.brinkster.net/creativebits/2004/08/ps-placing-artwork-on-uneven-surfaces.html
Hey, thanks deker. I'll try that and see how it goes. I had visited that site a few weeks ago, but again, did not bookmark it. I shall not make that mistake again. Thanks again, Guido |
