Do you mean how do you actually get the logo on the computer, or how you can get inspiration for cool logos? If you can draw...just sketch out a cool looking design, then scan it in and trace it. |

spend some time looking at different logos and practice making a bunch of your own. I've got a folder where I keep cool logos I rip out of magazines so I can use them for inspiration later if I need to. Something like that might help you out. As far as going on your own ... custom shape + good font + nice colors = logo.

Those both were drawn with the pen tool which is what I'd recommend you do for your logo so that you have it as a vector. That way you can resize the logo for whatever application you need it for.

Well there aren't very many more options unless you use a Logo Creator program. And then your logo will look terribly stupid. You have to just sketch ideas and shapes. Hundreds of them. On paper. Then when you refine it you can do it on the computer. Learn the pen tool, learn to draw. Kind of hard to be a designer without those two basic skills. You don't even have to be able to draw, just sketch ideas, no matter how rough they are.
