how do i blend an image?

how do i blend an image to the same color as a background for example i got a lightning background right now and how do i blend an image that i found on the web so it matches into the color ?

Press CTRL + U to open the Hue/Saturation box, click the colorize checkbox, and then adjust the slider to match the color to your background. If you want it to blend in, you can use a layer mask to fade the edges into the background image.
