Hey, I'm making a Bomberman site but I have a problem with the logo: I want it to look exactly (or almost exactly) like this Bomberman logo: Logo1 Logo2 The problem is, that my site will be called ''Planet Bomber'', and I want it to look like that logo... I mean, the ''Online'' text would be ''Planet'' and the ''Bomberman'' text would be ''Bomber''. ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! |

Well...for one, I should mention this. If this logo you provided is a logo of another site, and your logo looks similar, people will think that you copied and stole their logo. So what I suggest is that you think up your own logo, instead of using someone else's with just one word switched out. But if you must use their logo...just trace over their logo with the pen tool. Basically draw the logo yourself, but use their's as a guide...kind of like tracing, except you draw in 'planet' yourself, and just don't draw the 'man'. I cannot believe I'm telling you this. Don't do it...it's not right. I like bolds and italics. |

No, I'm not stealing that logo from another site. ^^; That's the official logo used in the Bomberman Online game. ^^ |

Do the makers of this Bomberman Online game give sites the authority to use their logo? If so, then you're good. If not then you'd be wise to either get their ok or just make your own logo. You can't just lift a logo or even it's style like that without being the copyright holder yourself or having his/her permission. It may not seem like a big deal, and in your case it may not be, but understand that taking their logo (directly or even too much indirectly) is illegal. However lightweight you may think it is...it's still illegal. Now couple that with the fact you'd be using this new logo on a public document, your web page. I don't know about you, but I subscribe to the theory "if one is going to engage in illegal activity then be smart enough to keep it to yourself...and above all else, do not broadcast the fact to the entire world." Everything make sense now? ;) |

I havent checked but most big games released thesedays (if they have a website) provide fan site packs for download, these as a rule include item such as Logosets and even fonts. As I say I havent checked to see if this is the case with Bomberman. |
