Is there a simple way to turn a normal picture into a cartoon? I tried the cutout filter, but it isn't exactly what i am looking for.

Yeah...draw over it yourself. Filter's can't do everything for you.

Galaphile -- You know, you don't have to be crass about it. i understand that i could do it myself, but if you refer to the question, i simply asked if there was a filter that did it, as opposed to having to take the time. i guarantee, you are not a photoshop god, so stop acting like one.

Spectre -- thanks for the reply. The posterize filter didn't quite give me the outcome i was looking for, either. i was kind of looking for a new filter somebody had designed, maybe. thanks anyway.

Maybe, maybe not. But I am. And I'd tell you the same thing. And it ain't acting. It's doing.

I in no way consider myself a photoshop god. I know tons of people on this forum that are better than me. I'm giving you a suggestion. You say that your question asked if there was a filter that did it.

That's not asking for a filter, so I thought it would be helpful to suggest an alternate road that would lead you to a better outcome.
I apologize then if I have offended you.

And trust Utopian -- he's one of the people better than me ;)
