Is it koz i is black?

i saw a newspaper article with the same title a while back...something about peoples attitudes being different to white and black people.

they had a photo of a woman who was white, then changed her skin so its black.

i wanted to try this out so i tried going over the pic lightly with the burn tool and changing the darkness a little bit. but it looked terrible....does anyone know of any techniques to help me do this?

The burn tool won't give you consistent results for something like that. You'd need to select all of the skin on the person, then use Levels, Curves, and Hue/Saturation; all under the Image > Adjustments menu instead.
