when i design something in photoshop and i use certain color like #9BABD0, when i save for web it lookes different, different color then on my photoshop canvas.... i played around with solor setting and preferances but nothing so far... any help would be appreciated.... |

What file format are you using? GIFs (I assume that is what you are using) can't store more than 256 colors. So if you color isn't one of the 256, it won't be displayed. The closest match will be displayed, instead. This keeps file size down.

so I should use safe web colors when i choose my colores....

As long as you keep your number of colors under 256 then gifs should be fine. It's JPG that's the real headache when it comes to trying to match exact colors. The JPG compression scheme often will shift colors in the image. You could possibly use PNG for matching exact color without worry of a color shift. Or just use GIF or PNG-8 as long as you keep the number of colors in your image to under 256. |

If your working profile is not SRGB, you should convert to SRGB before going to Save For Web
