Is there a way to compress or shrink a picture's file size without actually reducing the size of the picture or the pixel size?

Go Save For Web then to the right adjust the Quality slider (for jpg) or Colors (for gif), though you will be sacrificing quality if you go to low. heathrowe |

The JPEG2 plugin that comes with CS will probably be the highest compression ratio, either that or GIF.

Can all browsers render this JPEG2000 codec properly? I'm pretty interested in using this for web graphics, and I'm wondering if I'll run into problems with any browsers displaying these properly (IE... ). Thanks for the link thehermit |

the viewer would have to have the plugin installed! so its not as common, so you will run into problems. Just wish it was widely used heathrowe |
