Can anyone tell me how to reproduce this border effect? I would like to do this to several photos, and thus would like the method to produce several borders - so that it doesn't look like I just have a template that I'm dropping images into... Anyone have any ideas? http://www.imaginadesigns.com/personal/border.jpg http://www.imagesoflove.com/ |

you need some grunge brushes - use those to erase the edges of a black rectangle. there's lots of grunge brushes free for download. Just google for "grunge brushes" You'll have to make them manually if you don't want all the borders to look the same. I guess you could make an action of it and randomize some of the steps - like maybe - make a path and stroke it with the eraser set to a grunge brush - set to simulate pressure but you'll have to be careful with the brushes. too big and they poop If you don't have too many photos you may want to make them manually. |
