Some months ago, I saw a very simple process for filling text with an image. Only two or three steps; involved a 'mask'. Can't seem to remember how to do it, and can no longer find the tuitorial. Can anyone help? --Mark--

It is really easy... 1. create a new file 2. type your text 3. rasterize your text by right clicking on the layer and then clicking rasterize 4. open the image you want to fill your text with 5. select the part of the image you want to fill your text with 6. copy that selection 7. go back to your text and select it by ctrl + clicking the layer 8. go to: edit -> paste into voila! |

1. Top Layer = Image Layer 2. Bottom Lyer = Text Layer 3. Slect the Top Image Layer, then Ctrl + G to create a Clipping Mask cheers heathrowe |

Yeah...no sense rasterizing the text. Better to keep it editable.

Wow I never knew that one. I would have gone through ctrl clicking and deleting parts. Thanks for the tip, may save some time some day. |
