Hi, I'm somewhat new to PSCS and was maybe hoping one of you pro users could help me save a photo I took that is massively over exposed. It is displayed here http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/119550 It's the group photo (as if you can't tell..lol) If anyone could help I really would apreciate it Thanks in advance Tom |

Overexposure digitally is basically loss of information. Overexposed areas (usually pure white) become "islands" of white pixels. Since Photoshop can't magically recreate those areas, it's highly unlikely photo retouching would restore the photo to what you wanted it to be. It looks like a bright sunny day, you could've shot that at around 1/60 F/8.0. You shouldn’t rely too much on Canon’s Av/Tv/P settings either; when I use my Powershot I always use Manual. |
