how can i make realistic splattered blood?
my friend has a picture of himself under a truck, and i'm trying to edit it so that it looks like he's under the tire and blood is splattered, realistically accross the inner portion of the truck.

Ok, I can't remember where I read it, but lets see if I can rember how to make blood...
1. Airbrush a nice dark red dot.
2. Get the smudge tool (pressure 50% or so... Experiment with this) and smudge from the center out and some wiggly smudges. (again experiment)
3. Blur/Gaussian Blur (a value that looks good)
4. Now lay ths blood layer over the area you want the blood. you can colour burn or mess with the transformations or even 3D transform or liquify to get it to look right. If the colour isn't just right Hue/Saturate it so it is.
5. Repeat as nesessary.

This method gives the 3D looking blood splatters like in games and stuff. Hope it works for ya

Too dark. I zoomed in and I think I saw some good work dude. But I it needs to be a bit lighter. No much, though, if you want to keep the dark and scarry type of feel. Just enough to see it a bit better.

Okay, I just cranked the gamma on my monitor and it looks good like that. Lighten it.
