hi, im new, I've always read this forum but never posted before. here is my question. how I make that backgrounds patterns that are really trendy nowdays? examples: http://www.jlofan.org or http://www.tugstreetteam.com the backgrounds. There is a tutorial somewhere? or pages with patterns? thanks in advice ;) |

the jlo site looks like a repeated pattern made by a 3rd party plug in - like KPT's Goo, or a long time with the liquify filter in Photoshop. the other is a repeated gif with a duotone ivy pattern, probably. my suggestion is to play around with the hue/saturation (Image>Adjust>Hue/Saturation) with the colorize button checked on - and play around with the Liquify filter in Photoshop. You can find tutorials for both on google - both are somewhat common. good luck - keep posting! |
