Someone fix my puppie, plz!

Okay, n00b here: I've only had PS for a day! I've made many enhancements to my pic already, but I can't seems to fix me puppy! Anyone help? I still wanted the after picture to be big, so I tried making the before picture small and cutting Twinkles out and brightening him up a bit but it turned out horrible because I didn't do the cut right...

I know.... Angelfire doesn't do remote linking, but just copy and paste the address into the address bar :D

P.S. If you're really a master at this... could anyone fix that excessive pink in the top of my blouse? There's a limit to wht you can do in one day's tra :p ining
