I would like to create a texture for a picture, an example is the background at the site www.bytheblade.com except I want to have a tan tint to it instead of grey. Can anyone help me with this? thanks |

1. Save that background. 2. Load it in Photoshop. 3. Go to the layers window There should be only one layer, it will be most likely be called "background" and will be locked. Double click on "background" and some thing will pop-up; just click "OK." It will be unlocked now and probably be called "layer1." 4. Now, double click on "layer1" in the layers window. 5. Check and click on color overlay. It will probably be as "Normal | Red Color | 100% Opacity" You're gonna now have to fiddle around with those 3 settings. - Switch the red color with a tan one. - Switch "normal" to probably "overlay" or "screen" - Mess around with the opacity until it looks good to you. 6. Hit OK. Save. |
