I am running Photoshop 7 and everything has been going fine until a few days ago. I am a sys admin and suddenly my users are getting this error when they try to load PS 7. Any ideas?

This is most likely because they have the Scratch disks set to a drive where they aren't allowed to access. What I'm guessing is that your users are on limited accounts. To fix this, make photoshop put its scratch disk on a different drive, like D:. Then, as an administrator, share the D: drive.

Are they running Photoshop off of the network? Generally, files will not open if someone else already has it open.

Besides, files should never, Never NEVER, NEVER be opened and worked on over a network. EVER. |
