hi i got this prob with ps. when i select a selection and i want to fill it. the collor goes out of the selection i think i have some kind of setting wrong. can some1 tell me what that is? greetz |

What do you mean out of the selection? Do you mean it 'leaks' out of the selection a little?

well this is what i select: and if i fill i get this: so it goe's out of the selection, and i want to get it full in the selection |

Yes, that's what I thought you meant. That is called feathering. What I'm guessing is that you used the rectangular marquee tool to make this shape, and you set the 'Feather:' in the toolbox below the menu. This gives your selection rounded corners, but makes it a smooth transition. Don't try using the rectangular marquee to do this, you won't get good results. Instead, go to the shape tool. Right click on it and select 'Rounded Rectangle Tool'. Now you can draw your rounded shape without feathering the selection. To make it rounder, adjust the 'Radius:' property in the toolbox below the menu. |

got it.... but can i use it to make a selection? because i want to use multible layers. do ihave to merge all the layers then + ctrl klick? |

You can use that tool to make a path. Then you go to your paths pallete, and Control+Click on the path with your shape. This makes a selection of the path.
