I need help on how to outline my words in white with a 2px outline... I don't want the full words to be outlined in white just the top sides and bottom to be outlined in white.. for example look at the Right Guard Xtreme sport deoderant, it's outlined in black but not around the individual words. How can I do but just in white? -peace |

Go to the blending options of the layer with your text. Find 'Stroke' on the left hand side, and check it. Set the settings you want there. When the stroke is how you want it, click OK. Now right click on the (f) you see next to the layer name. Select 'Create Layer' from the menu that appears. That basically makes a new layer with the stroke on it. Now all you have to do is either erase what you don't want from that Stroke layer, or mask it out.

If I am correct here's another way to get that effect: blending options: external shadow: -blendmode normal / 100% opacity /white / -45 angle / 2px distance / 100% spread and / 1px size |
