PS CS Color Problems

i dont know why but all my images in CS are lighter in color than outside of CS. So if i make a graphic in CS save as a jpeg or whatever and view it in Paint, or IE it looks darker than i designed. and when i bring other images from lets say IE it appears lighter in Photshop. This is really annoying when designing images. Can anyone help me out?

Welcome to the forum. Your question has been asked many times before, so it wouldnt be worth me going over old ground again, but if you do a forum search you will find tons of info.

Its all to do with colour spaces and profiles. You can just turn off colour management if you don't do much print orientated stuff, but it would be better to get to grips with correctly configuring your colour profiles.
