Hello everyone.... I was just doing a tutorial via PhotoshopUser Mag & found out there was a "goodies" folder on the CS cd! I found some good file formats for AliasWavefront (Maya), stock photos, textures among other stuff, like weird filters Anyone knowledgeable on applying these filters in a useful way? Anyway, all CS owners should take a look on the cd for some extras.... Regards Fess |

*Breaks out CS cd's* I also should watch the DVD that came with my suite. I have a hunch that whoevers on it knows a few more things then I do. I just wish the CS Creative Suite came with a good manual or something. I have next to no literature with it. And now that its been a few months, why did I cheap out and get the standard??? Man, I wish I had Acrobat Pro... |

Oh, don't tease a guy like that. I was never told about being able to pay a bit extra for the manuals. I can get by easily without Acrobat, but I just love a proper PDF workflow. It eliminates so many little hassles. But my printers all support Indesign now, so I guess I just have to suck it up. If you want to let me "borrow" your manuals, I promise to send them back. ;) |

"I was never told about being able to pay a bit extra for the manuals." Not to rub it in, but had you done a little research on the Adobe website you would've known this. We can't always be expected to be handed information on a silver platter. In fact, it's almost always in our best interests to get independent corroborating information when it comes to matters of investment, whether financial or otherwise. Caveat emptor. |

Well, I wasn't born with a silver spoon in my mouth, so I never expect a silver platter. Thanks for that though. I was more or less stating how it would have been nice for my vendor to mention this fact to me, sort of as a good business service. When I bought my iBook I got manuals, when I bought my bike I received a manual, and when I dropped 2 grand on software, I assumed I would also get a manual. Digging around Adobe's website is not high on my list of things to do, investment or not. Liveius and learnius. |
