is there a way for me to create an arrow? i want to make an arrow that doesnt have the "wings" on it like the one that comes preloaded in the presents. i want to be able to make it long or short...

Why not just draw it pixel by pixel. Or use the line tool. Or maybe the pencil tool. Can you draw an arrow with a pencil and paper? Then you can draw one with Photoshop the same way.

Unless you want it to be a preset like the one that you can use with the arrow tool. Then I don't know.

i think i know what your talking about. where its just kinda like > but as a full object(outline type deal). I just made one by hand. didnt take long at all, and then just copy the layer a few times to use for future times. I'd say make a brush out of it but then you cant change the size. good luck

Use the Line Tool (PS 5.5 or earlier) and edit the arrow head in the Options Palette, and save it as a custom brush.

In PS 6, use the Line grouped with the Custom Shapes, then edit the shape of the arrow head with the drop down menu on the Options Bar, or by using the Pen Tools. If you get an arrow you really like save it as a new Custom Shape.

yesssssssa - make it with the line tool in ps. you can modify it in all ways. but also windings3 offers a lot of arrows you can use.
