Any easy way to fit an image to path? fFor example, if I have a horizontal photo that is 10"long by 3" high, how can I warp/stretch/arc this imagr around a CD label so that the entire image wraps around the label? ANy help[ is appreciated. Thanks, Lisa |

I really don't think this method that I'm going to show you is the best, but here goes. Copy and paste your 10 inch by 3 inch image into a 10x10 inch image. Go to Filter->Distort->Polar Coordinates. Choose Rectangular to Polar. This warps it into a circle. I'm not sure if the distortion is too much for your liking or not. |

There is no easy tool to do so in photoshop. what you describe is called Enveloppe Distort(ion). It is available in Illustrator, and works with bitmaps: http://www.creativemac.com/2002/10_oct/tutorials/illenvdist021029.htm It's been requested several times in the features request forum of Photoshop to have such a tool added in PS, where it belongs... http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx?13@187.e4LgbX43aiy.7@.2cce6014/0 |
