Hey there, I'm cutting out an object with the pen tool kinda like this But I have more than one inner path (20 in fact). I made a few, then stepped away, then made the rest. But when I select the clipping path and Make Selection, it only selects the outline and the first 3 inner paths that I made. How do I add the other 17 paths to the clipping path? PS. the thumbnail in the Paths palette shows ALL 20 inner paths... What am I doing wrong? R |

hey, that looks familiar What happened was, at some point you stepped away from using the Shift key combination (Add to path) << or the Options Bar combination buttons, and eded up with seaprate work paths. As tou can see, in my Work Path screenshot, the inner path and the cup hadle path are in one path layer, thats because I used the Shift key after I completed the first one. hope that was clear Note: The shift key option is only necessary if you have moved on to do other things away from the original path you created. I have a Side Note added there now. A little different than what I mentioned above. Hope it does the trick for you. heathrowe |
