photoshop CS keyboard shortcuts not working

i received a copy of Photoshop CS from my older sis as a birthday gift and everything is working fine except that my keyboard shortcuts dont work.... scratch that, the program is not getting input from any keyboard function i use, even beyond the shortcuts. i still have PS7 on my machine and it still running fine and working great. is there something that i missed here b/c this is really starting to irritate the hell out of me.

n/m..... after speakin with my sister, she has informed me that it is a pirated copy and im willing to bet donuts to dollars that that is why it isnt working properly. at least, that is best conclusion that i can come to...... can anyone comfirm this??

my friend had the same problem with a pirated copy..so i confirm that :P

yeah i had a pirated copy and that seems to be the problem, then i got a "pirated second version" and they fixed that problem now. Then after saving and saving i got the whole official CS suite. But i know they sell a porated one with that problem fixed. My suggestion is save all your pennies and buy the cs version then as soon as you get it for their next upgrade
