Chrome Background

I am trying to create an image 1024x1024 that is a chrome effect. I know how to make chrome text but cannot acheive the same look without text. I hope I am making sense. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it.

well, to get that metalist feeling on a bg, usually...i use a gradient that goes from grey to white then grey...then i guess after you do that, you could apply some texture to it to make it look chromy.

Use an image for reflection. Chrome reflects what surround it, so take that into consideration also.
