I am trying to create an image 1024x1024 that is a chrome effect. I know how to make chrome text but cannot acheive the same look without text. I hope I am making sense. If anyone could help me I would really appreciate it. Shaun |

well, to get that metalist feeling on a bg, usually...i use a gradient that goes from grey to white then grey...then i guess after you do that, you could apply some texture to it to make it look chromy. check here for a tut... www.phong.com he used to have one not long ago. |

Use an image for reflection. Chrome reflects what surround it, so take that into consideration also.
