heathrowe.com has a great tutorial on this. You could easily use it to do a face.

There are also automated vectorizing techniques... there is one simplified available at http://tinyurl.com/3y2fe

Computer Arts have now my vectorization tutorial available for download, but sadly enough, it is a pay-for download... http://tinyurl.com/yweyj DISCLAIMER: I am NOT paid by the amount of downloads...

But I'm re-working it and it will be available somewhere (for free!) sooner or later...

Those are some great tuts, but somehow I cant seem to master the path of the pen tool on my own graphics.... when I make a curved line, the next line is curved from that one... why wont it go straight?

After you make a curve, hold down ALT and click on the end point. Then draw again from there.
