Okay.... I know you guys can help here. I have a 2 PSD files, each containing a semi-transparent layer (a logo). I want to define an action (In PS 6), which will place each logo in a specific spot on a JPG image. I will then do a batch process, to place these logo's in those specific spots on each JPG image as needed. I can't seem to automate any "move", and I can't seem to get any other aligment methods to get the logo's where I need them on the JPG's. Ideas, help, etc?! |

Ctrl+X then Ctrl+V will place your image smack in the middle of a selection.... try this - -the active layer is the logo - Ctrl+X, make a selection in a corner...or where you want your logo on the image and then Ctrl+V That should do the trick. |

Holding shift whilst dragging into a new document also centres the layer.

You can automate selections, and shift+dragging to a document with a selection will center it to that selection... remember that you can set the guides to ercentage, as well ;) |

I would do it with Image Ready. You can make a template with place holders on individual layers then automate the replacement of the place holders with a group of pictures of a spread sheet with text laid out in fields. Check out the image ready help files. If you can't find the information let me know and I will give you more a detailed explanation.
