hey matt - welcome to ImageReady... theres really lots to explain, as there are plenty of types of animations.. For starters, the most basic been a slideshow animation You can have ImageReady process this for you, by simply having your images available in a folder (preferrably all the same dimensions for cuteness), then go 'File/ Import/ Folder As Frames (Frames, representing a single frame transistion to the animation), and simply follow along with the wizzard... For more flexibility and control, I truly recommend the the Help manual on how to achieve the basic affects, but here's a few pointers... ImageReady kinda works backwords, meaning you oughtta have all the elements ready to go (each element represented by static layers), then apply various visibility, opacity and position of those static layers per frame to achieve an affect of motion.... what, you say -- heck a little tough to digest, so here's an ImageReady Animation Primer to wet your palette . Hope it helps, and good luck with it heathrowe |
